Registration from November according to the organiser; 2026 sold out

Date and registration 2027

According to the organiser, the 25th Berlin Company Run takes place on Wednesday, 26 May 2027, at the Brandenburg Gate. Registration is due to open in November. Some race calendars still list other days in May 2027; the organiser’s site is the one to trust. In 2026 registration ran through the Davengo platform and the race sold out, so if you want to take your whole company, be early.

  • Alone or as a team: You can register on your own, as a team via a team captain, or join an existing team with the same name.
  • Online only: The organiser does not accept registrations by phone, post or email.
  • Age 12 and up: Participants must be at least 12 years old.
  • No refunds: In 2026 there were no refunds for no-shows or surplus places.

What it costs

The organiser has not yet published prices for 2027. In 2026 the entry fee was between 24 and 39 euros per person depending on when you signed up, according to the running portal hdsports, so booking early pays. According to the organiser there were optional extras: a technical shirt for 21 euros, a medal engraved with your name and time for 14.90 euros, both plus VAT, and postal delivery of bib numbers if you wanted it.

The route

The start is on Ebertstraße behind the Brandenburg Gate. According to berlin.de, the 5.5 kilometres run clockwise via Behrenstraße, Wilhelmstraße and Hannah-Arendt-Straße to the Landwehrkanal, along the canal to the Herkulesbrücke, then north through the Tiergarten to the Victory Column and back. The finish is on Straße des 17. Juni with a view of the Gate. The course is flat, and for environmental reasons there are no drinks along the way, only water and fruit at the finish.

Evening start times

The company run is an after-work race. In 2026 the schedule looked like this according to the organiser, and 2027 is likely to be similar:

  • 7:00 pm: Skaters
  • 7:05 pm: wheelchairs, unicycles, handbikes, skate, wave and longboards
  • 7:15 to 8:00 pm: runners and walkers in four start blocks 15 minutes apart
  • From about 8:15 pm: award ceremony

What else you need to know

  • Teams: A team needs at least three runners or three skaters. In larger teams the three fastest count. Running and skating are ranked separately, and a company may enter as many teams as it likes.
  • Trophy for the biggest company: As well as the fastest teams, the company with the most participants gets an award.
  • Bib number: In 2026 it came by post, from the outfitter ARTIVA’s shop in Charlottenburg, or on race day from 3 pm on site, with invoice and ID. The timing chip goes on your shoelace.
  • Bags: There is a clothes drop, but bags larger than A4 are banned, as are glass bottles, cans, laptops and bikes.
  • Skaters: Helmets are mandatory. The organiser’s insurance does not cover skaters.
  • Getting there: Best by S-Bahn or U-Bahn to Brandenburger Tor. Expect road closures in the Tiergarten around the race; how the network works is in BVG in 10 minutes.
  • Afterwards: Around the finish there are company tents, food stalls and a networking party. The stalls take cash and debit cards.

From 1,000 starters to a sold-out race

The first Berlin Company Run took place in 2002 with around 1,000 starters. It is still organised by SC TF Veranstaltungs-gGmbH, whose main shareholder is the sports club SC Tegeler Forst from Reinickendorf. According to the organiser, profits go to the club, and schools and charities such as the Arche children’s project and the Björn Schulz Foundation have also been supported.

The run has grown a lot since then. According to hdsports, around 17,000 runners finished in 2017. In 2020 it could not take place on site because of Covid and was only held virtually, in 2021 there were 2,662 finishers, and numbers rose year after year to 16,727 in 2025. In 2026 the race sold out.

The organiser’s list of the largest teams shows how much the run has changed: in 2012 the Federal Foreign Office led with 167 people; in 2025 Tesla brought 1,000 participants, ahead of SG Stern Berlin with 533 and BASF with 400.

Do not confuse it with B2Run at the Olympic Stadium

Berlin has a second big company run. B2Run takes place in September around the Olympic Stadium over 5.7 kilometres, finishing inside the stadium. According to hdsports it was held in September 2026 with 14,394 finishers; there is no fixed date for 2027 yet. More on the stadium is in Olympiastadion Berlin, and all the other races of the year in Running in Berlin 2027.
